Step one:

 

​Remove your bra. Wrap a soft measuring tape around your ribcage directly underneath your breasts (as indicated in picture). This should be pulled tight, but not constricting. The tape should be parallel to the floor all the way around your torso. ​Do this in a mirror to make sure tape is straight in the back. ​Pull two ends together until tape is flat against your body. This number is your BAND MEASUREMENT. ( If you get a decimal, round to the nearest whole number)

​​A bra band that sits parallel and firm, never riding up your back or moving around your body.
+ An under wire that sits firmly against your ribs, never lifting away from your torso, yet not pinching or causing pain.
+ A center gore that lies flat against your sternum for anchorage, yet not digging in​.
+ A cup that completely encases all breast tissue, never sitting on top of the breast creating spillage, or quad boob. ​
+ Bra straps that stay put, but never hold the weight of your breasts or leave shoulder indents. 
+ A bust line that sits half way between your shoulder and elbow.

A True Fit For Your Body

Step two:

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust (as indicated in picture). The tape should be straight, parallel all the way around your back, but not pulled tight. This number is your BUST MEASUREMENT. (If you get a decimal, round to the nearest whole number) (

Remember, this is just a starting point! The best way of finding your size is to receive a fitting, as well as trying on different styles.
